Seemed like just yesterday

that school was starting. The busses have stopped running already for some school systems! Hard to believe it's almost summer.

In my constant (but futile) quest to keep my scrapbooks up-to-date, I'm now thinking about how to scrap those school memories and photos from the past school year. School photos, class photos have always been a bit challenging to me. Coming up with fun ways to scrap those little wallet photos or their similar enlargements is a mind boggler sometimes.

ScrapNfonts.com has some great school-related fonts and Doodlebats.

Tiffany from the ScrapNfonts design team used LDJ Crayon to create this really colorful border of crayons! How cute is that?!? Click on the image to see how she incorporated those challenging (but cute) school pics. Great layout!

Some other great school fonts:
LD Elementary - looks like that basic handwriting text we all learned in 3rd grade (or was it 2nd grade?)
CK Child's Play - a little kid's handwriting
LDJ Flashcards - well, a font on flashcards!
TXT Schoodle Doodle 1 - classic school icons - notebook paper, locker, apple, calculator, etc.

Don't they come in threes?

Not triplets, necessarily, but I've heard things often happen in threes. Have you heard that? Anyway, I've recently had three friends give birth. I need to make cards for them, cards that they'll most likely keep forever, knowing their sentimental nature.

Once again, Regina from the ScrapNfonts design team has come up with some FANTASTIC baby cards. For this "It's a Girl" card, she used two Doodlebat fonts - DB Baby Girl font for the stroller and DB Boxy Baby for the words. (The glitter adds that extra little touch I love!)

She also created a Boy card and a cute card with little baby booties on it! As a matter of fact, I guess that makes THREE cards, too. :)

Who doesn't love free fonts?

Well, I get the skinny on all the fun stuff coming up on ScrapNfonts and they're going to give away a WHOLE FONT FAMILY with every purchase! And it's a doozie of a font, too. CK Journaling. It's one of those fonts that can be used in so many different ways. And the variety of fonts in the family are really neat, too. Check out the one in circles. Very cute. Take a look at how Andrea from the Design Team used them on her project here. Beautiful!

Head on over to ScrapNfonts. Not sure when the promo will end to be honest. Make sure to post a link where I can see your creation with CK Journaling. What a great freebie. :)
